STAGE 3 - BUILDING REGULATIONS

Upon receipt of planning approval, it will then be necessary to add further

technical /construction information and submit a BUILDING REGULATION application.

Approval is granted in about 2-3 weeks from submission and again may be approved

subject to conditions requiring further detail information to be submitted

(typically minor details of technical specification.)

It may also become necessary to include items of Structure Engineering detail and

we can assist in this by obtaining quotations on your behalf.  

Together with the approved planning drawings and detailed working drawings for

Building Regulation approval, an accurate cost of the works and full specification

of fixtures and fittings can be agreed between the client

and their preferred builder.

Building works can commence when full planning and building regulation approvals

have been obtained and it is usual for your building contractor to notify both the

planning and building control sections of your local authority

at least 1 week before site works commencing.
